mIRC Guide!

Underneath will be steps showing how to download and install mIRC onto your local PC. And also set it up for server use.

Step 1. - Download mIRC, you can download mIRC from here.

Step 2. - Install mIRC, follow the instal wizard and its best to install it in the default location.

Step 3. - Once installed, go to tools along the toolbar at the top of the screen, there is a circle around "tools", open that and go down to the very last option and click that.

Step 4. - Fill in the area's, "Full name, Email Address, Nick, Alternative" - For full name, just put your name, or a made up one for security reasons. Email Address, put your email address in, For nick, put your nickname you wish to use on IRC. Also set another nickname in alternative, incase that nickname has already been taken.

Step 5. - Under "Connect" on the left hand side of your options menu, hit the servers tab. This will bring up a small screen, fill it out as followed by the underneath diagram. Note: Description is a description of the IRC server, IRC server is the IRC server you are going to be connecting to.

Ports are what ports you are going to be using to connect to this server (You may put more then one, e.g. Port(s): 6667,6668,6669 Works too.) And the group you can just leave as your description, or something destinguishable.

Appeal Against Bans

Appeal against bans on the forums. You must give logs and proof and involve WHY you think you should be unbanned, otherwise your appeal will be denied. (It will be posted if it was accepted or denied.)
